Yodlee is looking for a Data Scientist who has a passion for data Analysis, building Predictive Models. The candidate should have ability to explore big data, understand the distribution of Predictor variables, transform them accordingly, creating efficient algorithms and recommend data quality improvements. Excellent Communication & presentation skills are required to interact with/present to the Customer the business, impact of their predictions like targeting key customers, cross-sell & up-sell strategies, optimal pricing etc.
Able to demonstrate advanced computing and analytical skills with particular knowledge and understanding of the following areas:
- Statistical modeling (GLM, time series)
- Statistical programming languages (SAS, SPSS, R)
- Data visualization and presentation
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience with real data
- Strong background in statistical concepts and calculations
- Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for model development, model validation, model implementation and large scale data analysis.
- Develop metrics and prototypes that can be used to drive business decisions
- Identify emergent trends and opportunities for future client growth and development Minimum
- Excellent critical thinking skills, combined with the ability to present your beliefs clearly
Experience in in the Banking & Finance sector will be a big plus.
Educational Background: Masters in Mathematics/Statistics, Operations Research from leading institutes OR Masters/PhD in Computer Science with project work/specialization in Data Mining.
