As a Data Scientist Intern you start by joining the team of Data Scientists asking the right questions, and performing rigorous analyses to large sets of data to understand levers that provide further wireless network optimization, drive revenue, or enhance customer experience, to name a few. You are really smart, driven, and extremely skilled at creatively solving problems.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform analyses to identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence direction of decisions and businesses across SEVEN
Work closely with teams across the company to answer important questions
Identify and develop improvements to the data analytics and reporting tools
Skills and Experience Required:
MS or working towards a PhD degree in a quantitative discipline from a leading academic institution or similar relevant experience gained in industry/research
Strong programmer
Curiosity to ask the right questions, strong drive to learn
Experience in quantitative analysis and develop conclusions based on analysis/research.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment and drive change, and collaborate effectively with a diverse groups of individuals and organizations
Able and willing to work under deadline pressure
