As a Data Scientist you start by asking the right questions, and performing rigorous analyses to large sets of data to understand levers that provide further wireless network optimization, drive revenue, or enhance customer experience, to name a few. You are really smart, driven, and extremely skilled at creatively solving problems. You will work closely with executives, engineers and product managers to help taking a high-impact data-driven leaps in each of the respective areas.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence direction of decisions and businesses across SEVEN
Work closely with teams across the company to answer important questions
Drive identifying new and refining existing data sources
Prepare presentations and reports to internal and external customers
Identify and develop improvements to the data analytics and reporting tools
Skills and Experience Required:
MS/PhD degree in a quantitative discipline from a leading academic institution or similar relevant experience gained in industry/research
Strong programmer
Curiosity to ask the right questions
Experience in quantitative analysis and develop conclusions based on analysis/research.
Demonstrated clear and thorough logical and analytical thinking, problem solving skills, and comfort with ambiguity, and creativity
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment and drive change, and collaborate effectively with a diverse groups of individuals and organizations
Able and willing to work under deadline pressure
