Data Security Solution Consultant/Post-Sales Engineer Vormetric

This position requires working at a customer site in Northern NJ/Bergen County, NJ area for 10 months and help them deploy Vormetric Data Security solution. At the end of engagement, the consultant will join Vormetric Professional Services team and help our customer base in East coast. This position will work closely with our Technical Sales team to develop and implement Vormetric Data Security solution based on customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a broad hands-on technical background with professional experience in operating systems, databases, storage, security and networking.Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for customer-facing product deployments - both pre-sales (i.e. trials) and paid post sales engagements
Serve as a Vormetric Data Security Solution expert including its underlying architecture and best practices. Ensure that Vormetric products are deployed to meet customers technical and business requirements
Deliver product training to partners, customers and other stakeholders
Identify and champion product enhancement requests and product support issues
Requirements:
At least five years of full-time experience as a solution consultant, post-sales engineer or IT administrator/operations
Enterprise software installation experience is required
Customer facing or sales support experience strongly preferred
Strong skills in UNIX, Linux or Windows Server operating systems. A basic understanding and hands on experience on UNIX platforms a must
Strong background in at least one of the following areas - storage systems, databases (Oracle, DB2 or SQL server) or security (encryption, access control, PKI, digital certificates) is a must
Ability to do basic network troubleshooting
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and verbal communication skills
Must be highly motivated, competitive, and a self-starter
Additional Requirements:
Prior experience in a similar position in a known security products company a big plus
Knowledge and/or past experience working on compliance requirements/projects such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA/HITECH is a big plus
This position requires working on-site in the Bergen County, NJ for first 10 months. Must be able to commute to Bergen County, NJ area or willing to relocate during this time period.
