The Data Services Engineer is responsible for data services work associated with the iModules client base, who utilize our web-based software application, which combines leading edge constituent management, event planning, and fundraising tools with an integrated communication and content management platform.This position will oversee client data exchange processes, configure data related portions of the software, provide level 2 database management support, and provide support directly to client management and support teams on various data topics.
Responsibilities:
? Configuration of multiple database elements of our web-based software
? Creating and executing data imports/exports for implementation and professional services clients
? Providing Level 2 database management support
? Review of data documents and files sent by clients during implementation, as well as verifying that such files are formatted and properly mapped for the database build process
? Support & Implementation of our data exchange protocols, 3rd party services, and standards (, Advance, Banner, Web Services, SFTP)
? Supporting internal client reporting and data extraction for further business analysis
Desired Qualifications/Experience:
? Strong problem solving skills & attention to detail
? Ability to multi-task
? Strong verbal skills
? General database knowledge
? Strong PC skills, including Excel
? Strong willingness to learn
? SQL, HTML, XML, and/or Web Services knowledge
? Bachelor?s degree with a major in computer science, business, or equivalent experience
