Job Description
As a Data Solutions Developer, this person will work on projects to enhance and improve our data management platform. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to) design and development of data management projects and desktop applications, documentation, unit testing, code reviews, resolving defects encountered during the QA cycle, supporting the delivery of data, and assisting other Developers in a team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
? Develop new (as well as enhance and improve existing) software to manage data
? Work daily with: HTML, XSL, SQL, Java, ETL Software solutions, .NET based applications
? Design and present projects to improve current process and overall platform
? Code and test projects
? Attend meetings and training as required
? Function as a Technical Lead on projects as required
? Work with project management for the successful completion of projects
? Follow established department procedures, policies, and processes
? Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
? 1 year of ASP.NET and C# -OR-
? 1 year developing with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL -OR-
? 1 year developing ETL solutions -OR-
? 1 year Java development
? Excellent problem solving abilities
? Organize and prioritize individual workload in order to meet required deadlines
? Familiar with Agile project management
? Communicate effectively with team members, team leads, and on occasion with clients
? Work as a member of a team, accept ownership of work and actively contribute to team discussions
? Excellent decision-making skills
? Working knowledge of ETL and data normalization
? Working knowledge of object oriented software design
? Working knowledge of unit testing

? Team Foundation, Git

? Familiar with Lean methodologies (Kanban)
