The Data Specialist III will be responsible for building an end-to-end data integration solution connecting client system data to the Renew OnDemand platform. The specialist will play a lead role in the implementation and operational maintenance of ETL and Reporting processes within a complex multi-tenant environment. The specialist must be able to mentor and guide junior staff through implementation and operations. The specialist would drive improvements in tools, processes and product to improve quality and efficiency.
Design of data flow, data transformation from client systems into the Renew OnDemand platform
Design and development of client specific reports, metrics and dashboards
Configure IaaS data mappings and connectors using integration products to orchestrate data integration
Manage data validation, issue identification and issue resolution
Aid in data research and data support requests
Mentor junior staff for professional and technical development
Coordinate with Data Services Manager, Configuration specialists, Engineering and Quality engineers
Develop subject matter expertise in the products, systems, and processes
Document the solution, tools and processes for sustenance and operationalization
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
5+ years of experience with ETL and reporting tools
Must have design experience and a proven track record of designing and development of well-structured, maintainable database solutions.
Working experience with web services, APIs, JSON, XML
Strong SQL/PL SQL experience
Integration product experience with ETL/IaaS tools; MuleSoft and/or Boomi desirable
Comfortable using a shell/Linux environment
Experience with MongoDB preferred
Solution-oriented, proactive approach coupled with practical knowledge of execution in a high-growth environment
Ability to work in a cross-functional team with both internal business users as well as third party vendors
