THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for design and implementation of the Data warehouse, ODS and data interchange capabilities of our enterprise BI platform. The Data Warehouse Developer will partner with the BI Developer and work with product IT operations, software development, and product management to create a high level of customer satisfaction by assuring the quality, stability, performance, and data integrity of the Clinicient software product infrastructure and offerings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Interview technical and business representatives to understand and document business and technical definitions for data and data workflow. Produce and maintain technical and business data dictionary and entity relation diagrams.
Responsible for design, development, maintenance and optimization of various reporting data sources, including the data warehouse and views of the data across our platform.
Coordinate with SaaS database architect to write and document consistent ETL to load the data warehouse using SQL and SSIS technologies.
Collaborate with the SaaS database architect and DBA to develop a repeatable and high quality release management process for database objects.
Perform support for existing reporting solutions, as needed.
Strong motivation to create customer satisfaction through the delivery of high quality end-user applications and by solving real problems for real users
Self-starter able to work with little supervision
Ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and tact
Ability to diagnose and solve problems creatively
Ability to communicate clearly to varied audiences in writing, by phone, and in person
Must work well in fast-paced, constantly changing environment
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Degree in Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum 4-5 yrs progressive experience SQL server
Background in data analysis, SQL and ETL expertise to be part of a team responsible for overall reporting platform.
Familiarity with various data modeling designs, including ability to produce conceptual, logical, and physical artifacts.
Working knowledge Dimensional and transactional database systems.
Healthcare industry experience desirable.
Knowledge of billing and finance concepts is desirable.

SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITY
The position will interface primarily with internal staff and will have a high level of impact on customer satisfaction based on customers? experience with Clinicient?s product, the release process, and the presence and severity of software bugs not detected through the QA process. The nature of the position entails frequent new and varied work situations with a high degree of complexity. There are some established procedures, although the individual will expected operate with little direct supervision in a highly collaborative environment.
This position is performed primarily in an office environment. Significant portions of the job require extended sedentary periods, constant work with computers (including extended period of keyboarding), and repetitive motion of hands and wrists.
