Job Responsibilities:
? Develop stored procedures, triggers and user-defined functions.
? Develop and support extraction of large volume of data from various sources into the Data warehouse after significant cleansing, transformation
and processing using SSIS and other ETL tool sets.
? Support of a Data Warehouse/Data Mart to meet end user data needs (Metrics driven Business Intelligence Solution).
? Performance optimization of the Data warehouse.
? Identify system deficiencies and recommend solutions.
? Designing, coding, and writing unit test cases from functional requirements.
Job Requirements:
? Expert knowledge of SQL programming with a minimum of 4 years with Microsoft's SQL server products. Proficient with SQL Server 2008 R2/2012
? SSIS, SSAS, etc.
? Solid Microsoft Data warehouse performance tuning and troubleshooting experience. Strong SQL background including writing stored procedures
and triggers etc.
? Working knowledge of custom SSIS script tasks ,VBScript, .Net and C#
? Experience in dimensional modeling - Star Schema / Normalized Schema etc.
? Experience with other Data warehouse /ETL tools such as Data Manager (IBM) or Data Stage.
? Knowledge with Business Intelligence tools like Cognos or Business Objects is a plus.
? Excellent communication skills.
? Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
? Strong technical documentation skills.
? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or related field.
