The database administrator of Intronis is part of a team of DBAs responsible for the development, management, monitoring, and scalability of our database architecture. The environment includes MySQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB.Responsibilities
Data modeling
Writing stored procedures
Query and index tuning for an Internet scale database cluster
Being part of the development process
Collaborating with other Database Administrators
Qualified candidates for this position have:
MSSQL and MySQL experience required
Experience with MySQL multi-master a plus
MSSQL Clustering and Replication
Managing Backups and Restores
MongoDB experience a plus
Experience using Linux and Windows Server
Prior experience being part of the development process
Experience in Linux shell scripting or Windows batch scripting
Excellent time management skills
Passion to get the job done right the first time
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and problem solving abilities
Customer focused attitude
Education/Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience
Bachelor's Degree in science or engineering, or equivalent experience
