Essential Job FunctionsMaintain a robust database environment to ensure high availability for a 24x7 manufacturing facility
Create and design database tables to store process and metrology tool data
Design and support a fail-over (cluster, mirroring) database architecture
Improve database responsiveness by performance tuning, monitoring and other proactive measures
Design a database archiving strategy for MES and tool data
Select a reporting platform to meet the needs of the cross-functional teams
Develop and generate reports to help drive results and management decisions
Be a key member of the MES implementation team
Requirements
5-7 years DBA experience in a manufacturing environment
5-7 years SQL query and reporting experience
3-5 years DBA experience in MS SQL Server
Solar experience a plus.
