DescriptionThe Database Analyst is responsible for data preparation and analysis for university fundraising campaigns through the use of data warehouse tools and alternative applications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage data preparation, cleansing and segmentation
Attention to detail through quality checks and documentation
Interact with clients and internal departments
Data analysis
Creating reports for clients and internal management team
Data manipulation within data warehouse environment
QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Licenses/Certifications and Work Experience):
Required:
Bachelor?s degree in a technical field or 2+ years experience in a technical field
Experience with Oracle, MS SQL
Experience with ETL and data management
Working knowledge of data cleansing techniques
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience with databases, and working knowledge of SQL
Strong analytical skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties and general attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to document and update/maintain current processes and procedures
Desire/ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred:
Proficient in FoxPro or VBA Programming
Previous experience in fundraising a plus
