As a BI developer, you bring crucial analytics to our organization. Accurate business intelligence often equals competitive advantage in the market, and you are a data expert. You solve real-world business problems by designing and building OLAP (online analytical processing) cubes, applying data mining algorithms, writing queries and designing reports. Responsibilities range from report design, building and maintenance to overall responsibility for BI systems infrastructure.
Design and plan BI solutions
Configure, deploy, debug, monitor and troubleshoot BI solutions
Create and deploy reports
Write relational and multidimensional database queries
Minimum of 5 years? experience with developing technical BI data solutions, preferably with MicroStrategy tools and PostgreSQL experience. Prior work as a BI solutions architect or Programmer Analyst strongly preferred
Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology, or any IT and/or Business-related discipline
Work closely with BI analysts to deliver effective global BI architecture in a timely manner
Design, develop and troubleshoot MicroStrategy platform solutions
Adherence to all development standards and protocols including the likes of Change Management, Code Review, Documentation and Testing
Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption
Build relationships with business intelligence partners to understand data needs in order to execute with excellence on documented user requirements and prototypes
Good oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple way
Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers and advanced logical methods.
