DATABASE CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST MEDITECH
HighlightAs a member of our Client Services team, you will provide support for our Health Care Information System. This is an entry-level position and training in the application software is provided to all new staff. You will work closely with customers including hospital Information System staff, data analysts, consultants and C-level staff. Qualified candidates will be required to conduct a presentation for the hiring management team.
Description
As a member of the Client Services team, your job will involve:
Troubleshooting, researching, and solving customer software and system problems and database related issues
Implementing Data Repository customers
Working with Microsoft SQL Server and utilizing Transact SQL
Acting as the primary contact for clients
Answering customer questions
Processing requests for software enhancements and system modifications
Corresponding with customers over the phone and through eMail
Providing customer education and training sessions
Working on a variety of group projects
Communicating with development staff
Mentoring co-workers
Traveling 10-15%

Requirements
Bachelors Degree preferred, with special consideration for backgrounds in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent training, education, or customer service experience
Required experience or exposure working with personal computers and servers, troubleshooting, researching, and solving software related issues
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
