Responsibilities

Assess end user needs and implement business logic using T-Sql programming as part of a development team
Create, modify, and deploy stored procedures to be used in an existing web based application
Alter tables, indexes & views in a structured development environment
Interpret end user needs and implement reports using MSSQL Reporting Services
Alter & replicate existing MSSQL Integration Services projects according to ETL needs
Comprehend data concepts such as cubes, aggregates, relational schemas & ACID transactions
Identify and resolve performance issues in existing programming
Assist developers with change management

Requirements

3+ years experience with SQL Server administration
3+ years experience writing T-Sql queries
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
TFS or other change control experience a plus
GreenPlum, PostgreSQL, PostgreS a plus
Proficient knowledge of TSQL
Competent with SQL Server
Good communication skills, including written and verbal skills
Good problem solving skills
Ability to work successfully as the member of a cross-functional team
Ability to solicit information and assistance from contributors throughout the organization
Ability to demonstrate consistent commitment and initiative toward producing business solutions for the company
