SourceMedical is currently seeking a Database Developer for it?s Surgery Division, located in Branford, CT.
Summary:
The Database Developer/DBA will create and modify computer applications by converting project requirements and specifications into code and will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging and documenting database applications in both existing and new system modules. Source Medical utilizes the InterSystems Cach- & Ensemble DBMS IDE?s in conjunction with a ?minimal-install? user interface developed in Microsoft .Net/C# to provide a rich suite of application modules that are deployed in both LAN and WAN environments.
Qualifications:
SourceMedical is seeking qualified candidates with the following or work related experience:
Mandatory:
--Minimum 5 years prior experience as a database developer
--Experience in VB .NET and/or C#
--Strong SQL skills, Object oriented programming
--HTML/XML/SOAP/Web Services experience
--Full understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts
--Strong written and verbal communications skills
--Strong track record of academic and work related achievements
--Prior experience in DBMS environment, DBA
Desired but not required:
--Prior healthcare IT experience
