Netuitive, Inc., the leading provider of self-learning performance management software, is seeking talented individuals to work on various parts of our Predictive Analytics application. Our team members have been at the cutting edge of the cloud computing and virtualization environment since 2002, building and deploying our application on the data centers of the largest banks and Telco?s in the United States and abroad.The ideal candidate is a strong database engineer looking for great challenges involving a mix of OLTP and OLAP style requirements within a single data store. Your role is to design, develop, and implement complex database systems, tools, and applications. Your specialty should be writing queries, stored procedures, using data modeling tools, designing and optimizing databases, and implementing at the physical and logical level. You must have a thorough understanding of relational databases, specifically with Oracle and SQL Server.
Required Skills and Experience:
Must be familiar with current versions of Oracle and SQL Server - Advanced SQL, T-SQL and PL/SQL
Design, program, and implement databases
Tune and optimize database performance (read explain plans, explain statistics, optimizer etc?). Understanding I/O subsystems is paramount!
Design and troubleshoot the data access layer of our application (Java/JDBC/OCI)
Gather business requirements
Own the database portion of our architecture and work with the Data Architect to evolve and meet customer demand
Desired Skills:
SQL Server/Oracle DBA experience
Linux administration experience
Big Data technologies (Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra etc..)
Customer support experience
Familiarity with Agile development
Personal Qualifications:
Self-motivated, Quick learner, Detail oriented and well organized.
Independent problem solver with superior technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in small teams with minimum supervision.
Proven ability to learn new technologies and software quickly.
Comfortable in fast-paced, start-up environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering with 8-10 years of experience.
