To help support our amazing growth, we are seeking a Database Marketing Analytics & Reporting Analyst to support our demand generation strategy. We are a talented, creative, and passionate team of employees with a clear vision for the future and we are looking for YOU to help us create it.
Database Marketing Analytics & Reporting Analyst
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
? Analyze marketing data to identify, understand, and interpret marketing implications.
? Design, develop and produce reporting deliverables utilizing Salesforce.com and database software tools including SQL, Excel,Google Analytics
? Organize and analyze data from all sources, using statistical methods to ensure validity of results.
? Provide data analysis, database integration, database enhancement, and report generation functions.
? Present results from reporting and analytic projects to account teams and clients and provide strategic recommendations.
? Assist in driving web and mobile analytics strategy and testing.
? Provide recommendations to improve data integrity.
? Conduct market research and benchmark analysis as needed
? Provide visibility to the marketing program results to drive optimizations
? Manage reporting for all online programs. This includes: extracting data from multiple sources, importing and merging data into database, creating dashboards/report templates, producing reports, developing key findings summaries
? Provide ad hoc reports to Stakeholders as requested
? 2-4 years of experience working in direct marketing, database marketing, CRM, or marketing analysis role;
? Experience in Technology or Computer Software industry a plus
? Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills; strong ability to interpret analytical data and understand strategic marketing implications
? Ability to convey complex requirements and analytic processes to marketing staff.
? Proven ability to retrieve and manipulate data from large databases using SQL
? Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (including charts, pivot tables, macros, etc.)
? Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com
? Analytic and web based skills including experience using Google Analytics and Omniture/Adobe Analytics Tools such as Insight, SiteCatalyst and Discover.
? Superior communication and presentation skills; ability to manage tight deadlines
? Experience with multivariate or AB testing (preferred, not required)
? Ability to perform data-intensive activities such as: creation of macros for reporting and analysis; extracting data from multiple sources, importing data into database(s) and running reports as required
? Ability to think critically and make recommendations based on the business data needs: analyze, interpret results, and recommend actions.
? Familiarity with statistical methods and models.
? Experience with Analytics for social platforms a plus
