VTB is in search of a DC Order Flow Associate. The qualified candidate perform all daily order flow tasks as well as assist on inventory cycle counts, returns processing, and 5S adherence. This position will take a leadership role in specified areas during peak periods as required. Due to a change in need from season to season, this position will report to the retail Store as early as June 1 to as late as October 31 and is responsible for providing every Vermont Teddy Bear guest with top-quality service and entertainment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
?Print, sort, and highlight (if necessary) all open orders
?Data entry for orders requiring embroidered personalization
?Pick all open orders across all companies and 3rd party fulfillment
?Pick and complete all open personalization orders across all companies
?Personalize selected orders for artwork application, including order entry, printing and cutting, weeding, and heat press
?Personalize selected orders for embroidery, including hooping and machine operation
?QC and scan out all completed personalization orders
?Pack orders to a gift presentation standard in a timely manner and assure accurate completeness
?QC all orders assuring quality and completeness
?Maintain a neat and organized work area
?Prepare shipments for shipping using correct bar-coding, labeling, and shipping method. Ensure correct manifest information for billing and tracking purposes
?Cross train other staff in box labeling, shipping system quality control and trouble shooting
?Prepare international shipments
?Void, delete, address COO issues or change service on shipments as required
?Will assist in pre-peak functions to include pre-pack, pre-dress, kitting and Quality Assurance, Receiving, inventory cycle counting, and returns processing.
?Will assist other departments as needed
?Will assist in one or more of the following areas or functions during peak periods: Training; Quality Control; Oversight of Inventory/supply flow
?Responsible for adherence to the Vermont Teddy Bear Company?s inventory control policies and procedures.
?Assist with the development and adherence to departmental Action Plans on a year-round basis.
?Adhere to peak vacation blackout periods and extended hours.
?Responsible for SOS participation as required during peak periods.
?Will follow all ergonomic standards and safety requirements directed by the Vermont Teddy Bear Company and the department.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Retail
?Effectively communicate in a friendly and enthusiastic manner with every guest, providing entertainment, safety and a fun atmosphere.
?Provide accurate Company, product and store information.
?Assist in maintaining a clean, organized and well-stocked store.
?Prepare quality bears for sale by brushing, dressing and posing them.
?Aid customers with sales and service.
?Operate cash register and credit card processing.
?Follow departmental procedures - answer the phone in a professional and friendly manner, greet vendors and guests and assist them, and fill out appropriate forms for shipments and perform opening and closing activities.
?Assist inventory coordination with dressing, restocking and counting.

?Strong attention to detail, organizational skills
?Strong leadership and communication ability
?Ability to read and comprehend the English language
?Basic computer skills
?Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly and overhead
?Must be able to bend, stoop and reach repeatedly
?Must be able to walk long distances and stand for extended periods on a concrete floor
