LogRhythm is seeking a Sr. Sales Executive to join our Federal Sales Team with a primary focus on Defense (USAF and NAVY). The Sales Executive must be able to effectively articulate technology and product positioning to a variety of audiences including Command and C-level Executives and advanced technical personnel. The Sales Executive position involves prospecting into DoD accounts, identifying and qualifying opportunities, effectively managing the sales process, and closing business to meet revenue objectives for the assigned territory. A technical sales background in Network and Network Security solutions is required.
Key Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years sales experience with at least 3 years selling into DoD via direct sales
Successful track record in IT and Network Security sales
Demonstrated ability to qualify opportunities and close business
Strong presentation skills for face to face and web based demonstrations
Excellent communication skills (written/verbal) ? emails, RFPs, white papers, and reporting.
CRM application experience? preferably Salesforce.com
Extensive negotiation skills and ability to read and understand federal contracts
Security Clearance Preferred
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Responsibilities include:
Cold calling and prospecting
Giving presentations and demos
Managing pipeline and business in Salesforce.com
Provide price quotations, suggest products to meet customer requirements for their projects, and insure their orders are properly placed.
Up to 50% travel
Manage existing customer expectations while expanding reach and depth into assigned territory
RFP completion and submission
Participates in industry events by attending trade shows/association programs
