In this role, the Demand Generation Marketing Manager will work with various BigMachines departments to execute robust demand generation and nurture campaigns to uncover and help move leads through the sales funnel. An individual will be successful in this job if they understand the critical nature of all levels of work, the importance of managing toward deadlines, a results-oriented mindset, and showing an ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities. This individual will be a key member of the Marketing team and own the success of BigMachines? marketing automation efforts.
Please Note: Aptitude testing is required for all positions.
Development and execution of demand generation and lead nurturing campaigns leveraging Marketo and e-mail marketing best practices.
Ownership and accountability for results associated all e-mail marketing programs with special emphasis on lead nurture programs designed and built to move sales opportunities through key gates
Deployment and management of marketing automation best practices along with continual improvement and enhancement of all Marketo programs targeting online, trade show, and other lead sources
Partner with Sales and Product Marketing on the design of persona and benefits-based e-mail marketing programs
Analysis and performance reporting along with recommendations to improve in all areas of marketing automation
Adhering to all BigMachines security policies and procedures in the performance of job duties
Participating in security training provided by BigMachines
Reporting any potential security weakness, exposure or suspicious indications to manager.
Additional duties as assigned
Advanced knowledge of Marketo (Marketo Certified) and Salesforce with demonstrated, material success
Minimum 5 years of Marketing experience with 2+ of those years directly responsible for complete oversight, deployment, and optimization of Marketo
Experience extending ROI of all digital and event marketing leads
Experience in HTML/CSS, email marketing and social media preferred
Process and results-oriented individual with strong analytical ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management
Ability to prioritize workflow according to the marketing timeline in the midst of competing priorities and tight deadlines
Strong tendency to focus on the Customer and an ability to articulate problems/needs and solutions based on buyer and user personas
Knowledge of and interest in Cloud Computing/SaaS technology
Ability to work well as part of a team, as well as independently
