Manager: Head of Strategy
Objective:
Drive business strategy by building financial demand plans and conducting marketing analytics, with a
focus on e-commerce. Work across the e-commerce team to provide metrics, customer and marketing
ROI information and recommendations that will drive informed strategic decisions.
Responsibilities:
Work with Head of Strategy to develop and manage financial forecast for the e-commerce channel
? Consistently manage financial/demand forecast model, reacting to new information
? Track, keep record and analyze e-commerce sales trends based on promotions and
marketing
? Ensure that MMAP is aligned with forecasts and sales/margin targets by week are met
? Collaborate with inventory planning to ensure that demand and supply chain/inventory
planning are aligned
Lead the strategic and tactical management of E-commerce analytics with focus on order metrics and
customer relationship management metrics
? Manage weekly KPI reporting, including order metrics, promotional analysis, and customer
growth analytics
? Work with CRM manager to integrate customer analytic insights into demand planning,
including shopping behavior, purchase behavior, customer lifetime value
? Perform AdHoc marketing and site analytics to support the e-commerce team
Analyze marketing efficacy and recommend activities to determine marketing mix
? Develop ROI analytics for e-commerce marketing activities
? Proactively monitor, analyze and optimize e-commerce marketing levers including SEM
campaigns, in collaboration with internal team and outside agencies
? Make marketing/promotion cadence recommendations for the MMAP based on analytical
insights
Work with Head of Strategy on ad-hoc strategic projects and analytics
? Project examples include: 3-year strategic plan development, new market/channel
opportunity assessment, consumer research analytics
? Projects include cross-functional collaboration with other departments to drive key growth
initiatives (operations/inventory planning, technology, merchandising, creative services, and
wholesale channel)Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree required
? Proven experience in e-Commerce planning and analytics with a consumer products/retail
company
? Experience managing and optimizing e-Commerce and traditional marketing activities
? Experience developing financial and e-Commerce forecast models
? Data driven with strong quantitative analytical skills
? Proficient with MS Excel and Powerpoint and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Knowledge of MS Access and web-based data reporting platforms
? Detail oriented with strong project management skills
? Enthusiastic, organized, and self-motivated
? Passionate about making an impact within a growing company
Compensation: TBD based on experience. Benefits plan, including international stipend.
