The Deployment Representative is responsible for increasing the volume of health care claim transactions submitted to the Availity Web Portal by increasing the utilization of the Availity web portal for electronic data interchange (EDI) by health care providers. Increased transactions occur through sales, service and product deployments relating to the market launch efforts of the company and its products and services. Deployment Representative's promote the company?s products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
Linking market knowledge with the company?s capabilities, the Deployment Representative maintains relationships with health care providers within an assigned territory for the purpose of promoting the adoption and increasing utilization of Availity services.
Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the deployment.
Spend a significant portion of time in the office calling on health care providers.
May work on special projects based on business needs and strategic objectives.
This role is overlay to the field deployment force, typically supporting the initiatives of the field deployment organization and carrying an individual or team quota that is shared with the field.
Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested. Has thorough knowledge of company products, systems and services.
May direct customers to website or other company resources for information.
Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
The Availity Deployment Representative is responsible for:
Increasing the volume of health care claim transactions with the physician client offices in the assigned daily outreach via telephone or electronic means.
Identifying and analyzing customer needs for purposes of determining appropriate solution fit in assigned market territory
Preparing and delivering dynamic, high impact presentations and AV portal demonstrations to clients via WebEx
Building and maintaining relationships with Tier 3 offices via phone contact
Evaluating the effectiveness of various sales and deployment strategies for the purpose of identifying the most effective marketing methods
Participating in special projects based upon business needs and strategic objectives
WORK EXPERIENCE & SKILLS (Required)
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in some or all of the following fields:
Health Plan or Healthcare Provider Relations
Electronic Data Interchange transactions (Clearinghouse experience)
Practice Management Software vendor sales experience
Excellent presentation and communication skills
Excellent planning and organizing skills
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION (Required)
Bachelor degree or equivalent
