Spanlink is seeking an energetic and passionate Design and Web Communications Intern. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and fun environment while building a portfolio through a variety of project work.
As a Graphic and Web Design Intern, you?ll be responsible for conceptualization and creation of graphics for web and email marketing.
? Design, Develop and format various e-communication materials, including new Web pages, marketing emails, Flash banners and more.
? Proof, edit and format materials.
? Create visuals to be used in sales presentations, web and social media platforms (infographics, blog graphics, etc.)
? Update web content through content management systems (DotNetNuke)
? Assist in social media marketing (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
III. Experience and Skills
? Design background and experience with graphic and web design software, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign, and basic HTML coding skills
? Good writing/editing skills and attention to detail
? Experience with other Web applications and knowledge of online communication strategies a plus
? Superior verbal and written communication skills.
? Must have an aptitude to learn and understand technology. Knowledge of Cisco Contact Center solutions is a plus, but not required.
? Qualified candidates will have recently graduated (last 6 months) or currently enrolled in and working towards the completion of a bachelor?s degree in graphic design, web design, visual communication, or similar.
V. Internship Details
? This is a part-time, paid internship with a flexible schedule (15-25 hours a week beginning in October or November). This position extends throughout the school term with potential of being hired on full time in the summer.
