Job Description / Responsibilities:
The scope of this project is to develop designs and engineering solutions related to engine Lubrication and Cooling systems. Will be responsible to collaborate with both outside suppliers, and work with internal departments, including other engineering groups, purchasing, production operations, supply chain, and customer service. This position requires leadership to execute designs and analysis as well as plan validation of the component designs. This candidate would lead the new product development; resolve green belt led NPI/CPI issues and assembly issues; and support material cost reduction goals.
Technical background with engines and/or construction equipment.
1000+ Hours of modeling and detailing experience in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing with Pro/E.
Experience with cost reduction, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and project management in an engineering capacity.
Past background working to compile Bill of Materials (BOM), interpreting and communicating Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) for engineering projects and change work.
Min Years Industry Experience: 2 Years
Minimum Education: BSME
Required Software: ProE, MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
4000+ Hours Pro/E experience.
+2 years of "Hands On" or practical experience with construction equipment or engines.
Experience with concurrent product process design (CPPD), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and 6 Sigma. Prior Cat experience.
