RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, implement, and deploy tools, flow automation, and methodologies for use by a multi-site Hardware Design and Verification team. Development ranges from single point solutions to division-wide infrastructure/solutions.
Collaborate with design and verification engineers to determine requirements, architect and implement the solution, and then deploy it.
Support design/verification teams on front-end tool issues and flows.
This is an opportunity to have a direct and positive impact on the timely delivery of multiple high-performance processor chips.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 4-8 years of experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and/or course/project work in programming projects
Self-motivated, productive team player to thrive in a fast-paced semiconductor engineering environment
Demonstrated knowledge of software algorithms and Object-Oriented design principles
C or C++ experience
Scripting language experience - Perl, Python or Ruby
Experience with the following is a plus:
Databases (MySQL, etc)
MIPS or other CPU assembly language
Design and verification languages (Vera, Verilog, SystemVerilog)
UVM or VMM or OVM verification methodologies
