Designated Support Engineer/Managed Services Consultant Imperva Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Provide remote administration and tuning of SecureSphere deployments, as well as proactively deliver recommendations to improve the security and compliance of our customer?s environments. Act as the primary point of contact for technical support issues and case management, serving as true customer advocates within Imperva for the Company?s customers. Manage support cases from inception to resolution. Conduct weekly status conference calls with customers to report status of open issues and projects. Work closely and provide technical support directly to our premium customers. Work with Security Engineers to help drive sales technically. Assess the customer?s technical environment, and plan installations and configurations. Write white papers, technical notes, detailed technical implementation plans and results of security assessments, as well as other high-level documentation as required. Provide project management or input to project management for engagements. Travel throughout the U.S., as required.
Requirements: Master?s degree in Security Engineering or related field plus 2 years of experience consulting within the networking and security industry. Experience must include 2 years working in an enterprise-level customer support, escalation, or consulting capacity with a high-technology company in the networking, security or compliance industries. Must have experience working with TCP/IP, HTTP/S, Load Balancers, proxies and firewalls; and experience with Linux operating systems. Must have knowledge in databases such as Oracle, MS SQL and MySQL; knowledge in web and application development (JSP, .NET, Ruby, HTML); and knowledge of scripting languages such as Perl or Shell. Travel throughout the U.S., as required. May telecommute.
M-F, 9:00am-5:00pm. 40 hours/wk.
