The Responsys creative team provides digital marketing strategy and production services ? consulting, design, copywriting, coding and testing ? for leading brands in apparel, home furnishings, technology, travel and beyond. We work hard for our clients, but we also work hard at making our company a fun and inspiring place to work.
Reporting directly to the Art Director, the Designer works with the creative team to execute upon creative deliverables for Responsys clients. Balancing creative thinking with interpersonal skills, this person is responsible for the successful translation of concepts into visual expressions. They oversee numerous creative deliverables and control quality for multiple clients in a busy environment. They stay abreast of and contribute to industry developments and advancements, securing both their own and Responsys? positions as best-in-class.
Work with Designers, Copywriters and Developers to deliver client projects from concept to execution
Successfully wireframe, and design campaigns for digital marketing channels including email, mobile, social, web as well as display.
Excellent communicator with ability to collaborate with other designers, copywriters, developers and technology partners
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Consistent on-time delivery and the ability to stay highly organized in a fast paced creative environment are crucial.
Strong ability to articulate creative decisions to internal teams as well as clients
Demonstrated pride in quality of work, a comfort level following direction, and an ability to balance great design with the demand of short deadlines.
2-3 years of interactive design and user interface experience
Expertise in web and email design
Experience in mobile, social or display a plus
Understanding and sensitivity to alignment, hierarchy, color theory, metaphors, page layout, page composition and typography
Demonstrated high proficiency in the following creative development tools: Full Adobe Creative Suite.
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS and their limitations
Solid understanding of creating and editing Powerpoint presentations plus
Familiar with web development and emerging technology
Work with global brands to produce work seen by millions of people every day
