Workday's IT Organization is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to assist with our rapidly expanding IT infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is ready to jump feet first into the river and be ready to shoot the tech rapids without flinching. If you are someone who asks questions, is confident in not knowing everything, and would rather collaborate than go it alone. Must be detail oriented and able to express your ideas clearly. Have a passion for technology, and like us, and you value hard work and fun in equal measure. ⢠Troubleshoot, repair and document customer, hardware and software issues
⢠Provide phone and in person support
⢠Build workstations and install necessary hardware and software
⢠Maintain standard builds for Workday systems
⢠Maintain accurate inventory and records of hardware and software assignments
⢠Administer solutions to meet customer needs
⢠Create and maintain technical and problem/resolution documentation

Experience and Qualifications:
⢠BS Degree in CS/equivalent or 5+ years of education/relevant work experience
⢠Detailed knowledge of basic computer concepts, PC hardware and software troubleshooting
⢠Experience supporting Windows clients in a managed desktop environment
⢠Experience supporting Macintosh OS X (10.7 & upwards)
⢠Experienced in Lenovo and Apple hardware
⢠Solid knowledge of networks including Wireless Networking, Ethernet, and TCP/IP fundamentals
⢠Basic understanding of VoIP telephony and voice/data cabling
⢠Basic understanding of printers and printer servers
⢠Experience with client management tools such as BigFix, SCCM,JAMF, etc.
⢠Experience with client imaging and build solutions for Windows,OSX, Lenovo, and Apple products
