Desktop Support Technician SmartDrive Systems
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Primary Objective of Position:
Provide new user setup and ongoing support for desktop hardware (laptop, desktop, phone) and software (Windows based).
Prioritize and escalate issues as needed to the Sr. Systems Administrator.
Provide technical support to end users both on-site and remote.
Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
Leverage, update and create documentation for end users and peers.
Setup new user?s accounts and devices (laptops, IP Phones, and cell phones).
Prep/push laptop and software updates.
Support a 15 server corporate IT environment.
Support the System Center 2012 Suite (SCCM, SCSM, SCOM, and SCVMM).
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years Windows desktop support.
Minimum 2 years Microsoft System center experience.
Focus on effectiveness vs. efficiency.
Strong customer service orientation while able to prioritize.
Ability to learn.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Strong MS Administration skills with any or all of the following: Windows Server 2008R2 & 2012, DirectAccess, MS Dynamics CRM 2011, MS Dynamics AX 2009, MS Office Suite 2007- 2013, Lync Server 2013, Windows Server 2012 HyperV, MS Exchange 2010-2013 and Active Directory administration.
