Opportunity
Healthline seeks a Desktop Support Specialist who is comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and can bring a diverse skill set to our organization. Primary responsibility will be to respond to client?s technical issues, in a multi-platform environment, such as Microsoft Office error messages and computer hardware not responding.
Responsibilities:
Support a Microsoft-based network running Server 2003/8, Exchanger Server 2007
Dell proprietary desktop/laptops running Windows XP/7 (32/64)
Apple desktop/laptops on OS X (10.7.x)
Troubleshoot mobile devices, primarily iPhone, Android
Assist with purchase orders for hardware/software procurement and other administrative duties
Install and maintain client hardware and software
Install new clients and applications
Troubleshoot network usage and computer peripherals
Upgrade existing clients and applications
Perform system backups and data recovery
Resolve network and client communication problems
Assist with client installation, maintenance, email administration, disk capacity monitoring and network security
Education:
Technical degree and/or at least one year related experience
MCP/A+/Apple Certified Certification a plus
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent customer service skills to work effectively with clients and vendors
Workstation support (Tier 1 & 2)
Hardware and software troubleshooting
Excellent documentation skills
Practical problem solving skills to work effectively with clients and vendors
Knowledge of systems software/hardware
