Gaiam has an immediate opening for a talented PHP developer with 2-3 years of PHP/Drupal development experience to join our highly skilled development group in Louisville, CO. The position will develop future rounds of applications/websites within strategic areas of Gaiam?s online infrastructure. The right person will have a mix of development skills and integration capabilities while being passionate about developing innovative applications/website solutions.Gaiam has a wonderful work environment with onsite facilities (cafeteria and world class gym) accessible to its employees. Gaiam has a strong presence in online media, premium content areas of the web and consumer products. This development group is the core provider for all applications and websites for the above-mentioned areas.

Experience and skills required:
3+ years of PHP/Drupal development; ability to develop and integrate customized modules into Drupal applications
Experience developing websites in a content management system, including custom templates and module development (e.g. Drupal, WordPress, etc.)
Strong knowledge of SQL and specifically MySQL database
Strong working knowledge of jQuery and/or JavaScript
Solid working experience with markup and scripting languages such as: CSS, RSS, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, XML
Understanding and preferable working background with SOAP/JSON
Self-supportive debugging and problem-solving skills including cross-browser and OS compatibility
Strong knowledge of code optimization and Agile design principles
Additional Experience:
? Experience developing custom commerce solutions in PHP
? Proficiency working within Subversion (SVN), Git, or similar source control system
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
