Developer Relations Manager PlayPhone

The Developer Relations Manager is responsible for driving new game developer partners to the PlayPhone Social Gaming Network (SGN). The position reports to the Sr. Director of Business Development and has a key role in the growth and onboarding of game developers in North America and Europe. This position is based out of PlayPhone?s San Jose office, but will have flexibility to work out of the San Francisco office and by telecommuting arrangements.
The Developer Relations Manager must have prior experience in the social mobile gaming environment. The primary requirement for this role is proven hands-on success in attracting and managing strategic partnerships with game developers from initial point of contact through onboarding of their content to the platform. The role also acts as an advisor for developers and actively works with developers to optimize and drive performance and revenues of their titles by utilizing a combination of experience, vision and analytics tools.
The role is highly visible in the PlayPhone organization and works closely with cross-functional organizations including marketing, public relations, product development, and business operations. Your position will also act as the developer ?evangelist? of the company and frequently attend trade shows and conferences representing PlayPhone outwards in the games developer community.

Skills/Experience:
? 1-2 years of account management/developer relations experience within a mobile gaming, web application, or social networking company
? Successful track record in negotiating and closing mobile content distribution partnerships, and an advanced understanding of the associated business models
? Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
? Ability to communicate clearly and comfortably with external key clients across multiple organizational functions
? Strategic thinker with experience presenting solutions to executive-level audiences
? Direct experience developing business drivers behind mobile social gaming
? Ability to articulate product value propositions to game developers, from Indie to the publishers.
? Outstanding collaboration, relationship-building, and networking skills.
? BA or equivalent education,
? Previous experience working in a global or multi-national business environment
? A can-do, self-directing attitude with a demonstrated passion for our industry.
