We provide an award-winning cloud service to sync data across multiple devices and give users access to all their data anytime, anywhere, and from any device. We are looking for passionate people who want to create a great company to change the lives of many millions of users. We have hundreds of third-party developers and partners who are integrating with our APIs in products that will reach many tens of millions of users this year.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our third-party developer program, which will play a very pivotal role in accelerating the success of our company. We want to foster and support innovative third-party developers to create amazing applications that take advantage of the SugarSync cloud using our suite of APIs (https://www.sugarsync.com/developer).
Responsibilities:
Create momentum and drive the success of our public API developer program
Evangelize SugarSync to outside developer communities and reach out to prospective third-party software/hardware developers
Educate and support independent developers on API integration and help resolve technical issues
Improve API program documentation and collaterals
Communicate and provide feedback on developer forums
Promote and host third-party developer events and meet-ups
Identify developer needs and trends, and work with cross-functional teams to evolve and extend APIs to improve the developer programs
Ensure third-party developers? compliance with program terms and policies
Requirements:
BA/BS with strong academic performance
Software development background or strong technical knowledge to credibly communicate with third-party developers
4+ years of experience in outward facing role in a developer program or partner management
Passion for participating in developer communities, events, and forums
Outstanding ability to communicate complex technical concepts in understandable simplicity
Comfortable with public speaking and community discussions
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Highly organized and self-motivated
