PaySimple needs a tech-savvy team player to assist developers connect their applications to PaySimple functionality through PaySimple?s APIs.
Are you a natural at helping people with technical issues? Do you like sharing knowledge and enjoying seeing people find their ?a-ha? moment?
As an API expert, you will interact with third-party application developers to explain best practices, review code and answer technical and functional questions. You will work closely with PaySimple's product engineering, product management and customer care teams to ascertain the best solution for any given issue.
You will also have the opportunity to enhance PaySimple?s APIs by getting feedback from developers so that PaySimple?s APIs are simple to use, yet are powerful enough to meet developers? needs.
The ideal candidate loves interacting with other brilliant minds, troubleshooting technical issues, and seeing others succeed.
Qualifications:
Customer Support Skills:
Self-directed, motivated, and a driven performer with the ability to communicate technical issues/concepts clearly and effectively.
Naturally inquisitive with self-sufficient research skills and a desire to help others find answers to difficult questions. Demonstrated experience solving problems quickly, inventively, and resourcefully. Excellent attention to detail.
At least 1 year experience in technical support, sales engineering, or consulting for technology companies
Technical Skills:
BA/BS in computer science or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years experience in web application development and web-based integration using web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML-RPC)
Fluent in one or more of the following for at least 3 years: Java, Javascript, C#, ASP, Python, Perl, PHP, and/or Ruby
Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, AJAX/DHTML, and browser-specific issues on multiple operating systems (Max, Windows, Linux)
You?ll stand out if you have?
A strong presence on developer forums or a desire to build a forum for our developer community.
Received any customer satisfaction awards.
Built a commercial or open source application using 3rd party APIs.
