The Development Liaison will be the primary technical point of contact between Workday Product Management and Development and early adopter and design partner customers.Â The Development Liaison will assist customers in defining and prioritizing business requirements and will provide Workday Product Management and Development with clearly defined and prioritized specifications for new product functionality or enhancements that take into account the needs of multiple customers.Â
The Development Liaison will support the Design Partner Program Manager, Customer Success Managers and Workday customers and implementation teams by providing timely updates on the status of enhancement requests and product features.Â Â The Development Liaison will be expected to become an expert on the emerging Workday Student product suite and to provide Workday product and implementation expertise to Workday customers and implementation teams. Â
This role requires strong technical, interpersonal and communication skills.Â The incumbent must be self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability and perspective to understand, balance and articulate the overall product vision as it relates to individual customer requirements.Â
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Serve as the primary liaison between Workday Product Management and early adopter customers and design partners implementing the new Workday Student product suite
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Become an expert in the Workday Student product suite
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work directly with customers and consultants on implementations to understand and prioritize customer business requirements
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support the Design Partner Program Manager by documenting customer requirements and translating these into technical specifications and enhancement requests
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices for deployment and configuration
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide regular status updates to customers and implementation teams on product enhancement requests and emerging functionality
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 2+ years experience implementing or supporting Student Information Systems at a college or university
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 4+ years consulting experience with a consulting/software company implementing enterprise applications (e.g., Sungard, Datatel, Oracle/PeopleSoft, SAP, Kuali, or similar applications) at a college or university.
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience with one or more of the following functional areas:
