Product Summary:
WO Traffic and WO Sales are the Media industry?s most advanced traffic, revenue management, billing, and sales software. Together, they enable media companies to manage their operations and sales departments efficiently.
Job Summary
Our customers? satisfaction with our product is the most important part in WideOrbit?s success. When customers have questions regarding our products, we need to be able to handle their issues quickly and efficiently. Our Product Support team are the first line of support, but when they have a situation that?s too technically complex, they depend on our Development Support Engineers. As a Development Support Engineer, you?ll be indirectly supporting our clients by working with the Product Support team to resolve customer issues. In a sense, you?re the bridge between our customers and our development team. This is a perfect opportunity for someone that has strong programming skills, but also enjoys interacting with people.
Other responsibilities of the job are:
Write, detect and fix database scripts.
Process Professional Services requests and projects using T-SQL.
On occasion, communicate with clients to understand their needs.
Debug application through Delphi.
Work with the Product Support team to determine a work-around.
Work with development to ensure issues are fixed.
Try to recreate issues.
Be available for the possibility of working off hours to complete urgent customer requests.
Here are the skills and qualifications we?re looking for in a candidate:
Experience working for a software company is highly preferred in a product support or development role.
Strong interpersonal skills combining technical skills.
Be interested and willing to learn our product inside out.
Be able to do strong SQL scripts to detect issues and write scripts to fix issues.
Experience with Flex and Java
