Description:We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that has experience operating in a distributed, multi-tenancy environment. The candidate should have solid knowledge of Linux Systems with an innate ability to troubleshoot issues in a complex, multi-tier architecture. We are looking for an individual that wants to be part of our cloud scale-out process. You will be able to provide input on the future execution of the Cloud based environments with a strong emphasis on security, scalability and resiliency,

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring and managing all environments.
Designing, scaling out, and maintaining a Cloud-based infrastructure
Developing Scripts and great ideas to automate system deployment to scale infrastructure
Implement horizontally scaled out systems allowing growth globally
Build deployment, management, monitoring and security systems using DevOps techniques
Implementing zero-downtime production pushes.
Provide fanatical production support for applications and infrastructure (including taking part in 24-7 on-call rotation)
Automate, build, deploy and destroy servers, from quick POC?s to mission-critical clusters.
Experience with telephony technology (VOIP and TDM)
Qualifications / Necessary Skills:
Solid Systems Engineering and Operations experience
Advanced experience with VMWare virtualization
Advanced experience with storage subsystem technologies using Netapp and NFS
Know what SaaS and PaaS are and how they can help customers in a Cloud offering.
Security compliance history and mastery of Linux RedHat command line.
Familiarity with data transfer protocols ? http(s), REST, SOAP, JSON
Solid knowledge of Unix systems (especially RedHat)--We are not looking for a System Administrator, we are looking for person that is able to troubleshoot issues in complex, multi-tier architectures, has thorough understanding of operating systems, networks, and DevOps automation techniques.
Understanding of Java Web based platforms, PostgreSql Oracle, Apache
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Excellent system-level design ability.
Experience with Networking (HP, Cisco, F5, SonicWall)
Education:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
