We are seeking versatile, talented engineers to help us build the next generation of content management cloud solutions.SpringCM is looking for a DevOps System Engineer to assist in successful operations of the SpringCM platform. The ideal candidate knows a lot about Microsoft technologies, .NET Framework, PowerShell, web farms, SOA, virtual environments, basic networking, and monitoring frameworks. Systems Administrators or Windows Administrators with a passion for infrastructure and system automation, who possess the skills and conceptual understandings to follow are often qualified to grow into the role. The DevOps System Engineer will be working with an elite team of engineers on cutting edge technologies in a highly collaborative environment. Communication skills and logical diagramming are necessary.

You would be a key component in our technology team, automating our cloud based server environment.
Required Background
Experience:
Four or more years in applications and infrastructure administration and/or engineering. In specific Microsoft IIS, .Net framework, and web applications.
Solid technical understanding of infrastructure, server and application aspects on technologies such as HP, Cisco, F5, and windows .net platforms.
Strong technical analytic skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design, Build/Deploy, and Support
Role in Release Management
Outage Management (Maintenance and Scheduled Downtime)
SLA Management and Performance Monitoring
Rotating 24/7 on-call support schedule
Monitor for system alerts and provide hands on resolution of incidents
Skills:
Operating Systems - Windows Server 2003/2008
Scripting skills
PowerShell, VBScript, and related scripting experience
SQL scripting
Utilizing command-line interfaces for scripting configuration and administration
Diagnostic skills
TCP capture tools ? Ethereal, Wireshark, etc.
HTTP capture tools ? Fiddler, Firebug, HTTPWatch
Application stack trace troubleshooting
Configuration, maintenance, diagnostic, and monitoring skills
.Net Framework
IIS 7.0
Web Services Enhancements (WSE)
Optional
Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF)
Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)
Microsoft Message Queuing (MSMQ)
Understanding of
Active Directory, Security Fundamentals, and Group Policy
