Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., worldwide leader in securing the Internet, is looking for a Diamond Services Engineer based at our office in Irving, TX. In this position, your role is to be the primary point of contact for Technical Support issues, Technical Account Management, and a Facilitator within Check Point for your customer. You will be working closely with sales teams and support management to provide excellent service to our premier customers.
Diamond Services Engineer is a senior technical resource who serves as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Check Point security products for our Diamond Customers. They require strong networking, LINUX and security knowledge with exceptional customer service and communication skills. The objective is to wow every customer!
â€¢Manage and provide technical assistance for support incidents from inception to resolution.
â€¢Proactively provide advice with industry best practice for optimal performance of customer's Check Point environment.
â€¢Conduct weekly status conference calls with customers to report status of open issues and projects.
â€¢Assist Diamond Customers with planning installations, building optimal configurations and implementing solutions in production.
â€¢Manage the customer relationship and develop recognition as a trusted advisor.
â€¢Required travel approximately 25%.
Desired Background & Experience:
â€¢A Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in networking or security industries.
â€¢Check Point Certifications or other industry Security and Network certifications a plus.
â€¢4+ years of experience working in an enterprise-level Customer Service role in IT security industry; experience managing Check Point products is highly desired.
â€¢Self-starter and team player that can work expeditiously to provide technical solutions to customers.
â€¢Experience working with TCP/IP, Firewalls, VPN Technologies, Packet level analysis and routing protocols such as OSPF & BGP.
â€¢Experience with UNIX/LINUX administration.
â€¢Fluency in English and additional language fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is highly desired.
