If so, iCrossing is looking for an Account Director in their Chicago office.
iCrossing Account Directors are committed to developing and achieving client objectives and becoming the trusted advisor for our clients? interactive marketing needs. For this particular role, our ideal candidate has at least 5 years years of experience in digital marketing. They must have a deep level of marketing knowledge and understanding of web development and media including SEM, SEO, display media and their role in the overall marketing mix.
As an Account Director you must be a driver of change, a solution oriented thinker, understand the depth and breadth of iCrossing services, and be able to advise clients on strategies to meet their marketing objectives generally around growth, cost reduction and performance improvement. You must be able to understand marketing planning processes and specifically feel comfortable budgeting and forecasting. You will work as part of a cross functional team.
Ensures deliverables meet client's strategy and drives the account forward based on client objectives.
Manages the overall client relationship by setting and delivering upon client expectations.
Grows client revenue by selling (up-sell / cross-sell) creative solutions and ideas in all iCrossing Services, i.e., natural search, paid search, web development, market research, creative, technology, analytics and reporting.
Spends time onsite with clients on a regular basis.
Advises client on how to reduce costs and improve performance.
Leads regular client presentations and strategic discussions; be involved with, and sometimes lead, higher level negotiations with clients including but not limited to contracts, bid pricing, billing, and conflict situations (with the Project Manager, Managing Director or other iCrossing team members, as appropriate)
Defines and develops measurement models for project success with clients
Spearheads consistent reviews of project delivery, research, analysis, best practices, etc.
Ensures consistency and accuracy on all proposals by working closely with the marketing team.
BA from an accredited school; MBA preferred
5-10 years of account management or strategy in digital marketing
Ideal candidate will have mix of agency and client side experience
Thorough understanding of earned, owned and paid media strategies and tactics and how they work together to drive results
Up to date knowledge of the latest digital trends and how brands are employing them successfully in their marketing mix
Proven ability to navigate large client organizations and experience with large brands
Excellent track record of client relationship building
Ability to represent and promote iCrossing in a professional manner and demonstrate value added service to clients
Ability to develop and motivate a team and assist in the advancement of the Client Services discipline
Superior written and verbal communication skills and outstanding presentation abilities
Ability to effectively manage several projects and/ or accounts at once
Paid Search (SEM) experience is a strong plus
CPG experience is strongly appreciated
