Essential Responsibilities:
Meets or exceeds assigned monthly sales quota
--Provides superior customer service related to web and digital sales
--Builds/Maintains web and related digital sales through the entire sales process
--Attends client and tradeshows as a stakeholder and active participant
--Attains market intelligence through sales calls and communicates with management for new product ideas and general marketing strategies
--Cultivate relationships with new and existing customer base through a combination of inside sales and outside sale
--Identify and initiates contact with advertising prospects, through cold calls and/or leveraging of existing contact lists, utilizing iMIS
--Ensures ad(s) meets customer specifications by managing the communication, scheduling and approvals of ads in websites with editorial and design staff
Secondary Responsibilities:
Other Duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Skills:
4 year degree preferred
--Basic web market knowledge, navigating web, lead generation
--Exceptional communication skills, positive attitude
--Demonstrated success in closing sales transactions
--Knowledge of and proven business development skills, business case preparation, contract negotiation and relationship management
--Self-disciplined professional with ability to achieve sales targets, competitive drive
--Ability to meet deadlines and thrive in a fast paced, deadline and results-oriented environment
--Minimum of 2-3 yrs sales experience is preferred
--Computer literate, able to operate Office and Outlook
--Travel - 5%
