Boingo MEDIA is seeking a superstar, entrepreneurial DIGITAL SALES DIRECTOR to be based in Miami or Atlanta areas, responsible for maximizing revenue generation on our Digital Advertising Network and assisting with overall ad sales strategy within the organization. Ideally, the finalist will be able to cover the Southeast U.S. area and the exploding growth Boingo is experiencing in LATAM, particularly Brazil. This individual should have previous experience in the LATAM market with solid agency and client contacts. He or She will be experienced in booking and closing business remotely and will know how to effectively and efficiently maximize dealings with International clients.

Our ideal candidates must be wired in the digital and mobile space at both the agency and client-direct level, be aggressive, drive sales accountability and possess the desire to be part of a winning sales organization from the ground up, including rolling up their sleeves to do whatever it takes to make the team successful.
S/he's a sales pro, with an exceptional track record of generating advertising sales and delivering exceptional results. A great Rolodex of clients and agencies is a must, but beyond that s/he must understand how to think critically, problem-solve on the fly, and take a consultative approach to winning deals.
Of utmost importance is a dynamic communicator with outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, combined with the analytical powers of a spreadsheet jockey. And above all, be a nice human being.
?Create persuasive presentations using case studies to close sales deals
Support the sales cycle by effectively communicating the value of our value prop
Engage and strategize with agencies and clients to determine their business needs and formulate ad sales programs
Establish and cultivate strong relationships by conducting face to face sales calls and client entertainment
Effectively report on account development and sales progress via CRM
Understanding of advertising technology including mobile
Manage agency and advertiser relationships to quarterly revenue and monetization targets
Drive awareness of Boingo Wireless within the agency and advertising community
Work effectively with a variety of internal teams
You have FIVE or more years of experience in sales, selling advertising in the digital and mobile space.
You are a SALES SUPERSTAR, ACCOUNTABLE and RESULTS DRIVEN!
You can point to a rich history of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
You have an excellent track record in developing relationships with advertising agencies and national brands. Existing, current relationships with media buying decision makers a plus.
You understand how to create strategic and highly consultative proposals customized to the specific needs of the agency and/or brand. You present like a champ. You close like nobody's business.
You know how to negotiate a deal so that everyone feels like a winner.
You have outstanding people skills. You're organized. You're analytical.
You are self-motivated and can hit the ground running to close deals quickly.
You can juggle many balls at once without dropping one, and you have a strong customer service orientation
Must be comfortable calling on all levels of an organization
Ability to source leads and take them all the way to closure is critical
Organized and detail oriented with exceptional communication skills
Deep understanding of advertising technologies and terminologies for web, social and mobile
Goal oriented personality, committed to success, with a strong work ethic
Bulletproof rolodex/relationships with top-tier interactive/traditional advertising agencies and leading marketers; strong client contacts
Strong account optimization skills (analytical) and attention to details
