Position Description:
As an Online Maketing Analyst you will be responsible for continuously improving web conversion rates by drawing analytical insights from extensive amounts of performance data. This position will have exposure and responsibilities across all of HireClix's client and web properties. It requires a progressive, on-the-spot, creative problem solver who demonstrates technical and analytical excellence as well as strong problem-solving abilities. This person must be an independent thinker who can synthesize complex operational and marketing data into revenue-impacting marketing strategies.
Responsibilities of the Online Marketing Analyst:
? Design and manage multivariate A/B tests
? Define the requirements of systems that generate baseline customer data
? Partner with the web development and creative teams to rapidly generate multiple web presences
? Conduct detailed customer intelligence and ROI analysis
? Establish success metrics based on business goals
? Provide reporting to various levels of management and line staff
? Propose strategies and actionable solutions for improving web conversion rates
? Manage the continuous improvement cycle (test - analyze - take action)
Requirements for the Online Marketing Anlyst:
? Bachelor?s degree in business or related field with a strong quantitative focus (economics, engineering, finance, statistics or other analytically-oriented discipline)
? Demonstrated strong academic performance and work experience in an analytically-driven and fast-paced environment
? Intellectual curiosity specifically in regard to how people behave on the web
? Experience with customer segmentation, linear regression, trend forecasting, and ROI analysis
? Passion for web marketing and a strong understanding of how the web works - for example, browsing behavior, web server cashing, cookie deletion, etc.
? Demonstrated experience in translating detailed data analysis into actionable priorities
? Working knowledge of SQL and exposure to open-source technology a plus
? Experience with Google Analytics and other web tracking software preferred
