Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing strategies and managing digital acquisition programs to generate significant, highly qualified traffic and conversions - both offline and online. The roles works collaboratively with other Marketing functions to develop and deliver global interactive campaigns and programs that meet regional business and marketing objectives across the online consumer decision journey (awareness, consideration, conversion, and advocacy).
Requirements
Overall goals include driving new customer acquisition through a variety of digital platforms, optimizing response metrics, and ensuring all marketing messaging is brand consistent, relevant and competitive
Develop digital marketing strategy including rigorous analysis to identify potential value creating opportunities, creation of business cases to justify investment, and development of recommendations and requirements to implement the strategy
Manage interactive agencies in effectively executing digital, search, email, and social programs through collaborative partnerships, tracking, competitive research and pushing the envelope to test new channels
Optimize display and affiliate programs and any new or emerging digital acquisition platforms, new content development and other online marketing initiatives
Drive email business objectives and strategy for revenue generation campaigns as well as customer engagement campaigns in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support
Work closely in a cross-functional capacity with key departments such as Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Customer Support and Sales in executing email plans to increase conversion, loyalty, and sales
Mine and segment the customer list to identify new engagement opportunities to drive sales, loyalty and retention
Develop and test new messaging, design and landing page strategies to improve customer acquisition and conversion
Work with other members of the Marketing team to increase the size of our email list through email acquisition strategies/tactics
Manage the email scheduling, production and execution to meet company email standards for brand, deliverability, performance and reputation of all email communications, including continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Employ marketing operations discipline to manage digital marketing budgets and forecasts, planned targets, and tracking and measurement of results
Create processes, reports and work with internal and agency teams to improve acquisition metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPA, ROI, MROI and conversion rates.
Leverage web analytics and CRM data to assess, understand and communicate the success and profitability of digital campaigns.
Skills and Abilities:
5 to 8 years of industry experience
3 to 5 years of experience managing or leading teams
A degree in marketing/journalism or a related field is required or a combination of applicable education and experience
Superior verbal and written communications skills
Ability to mentor subordinates
Strong ability to work cross-functionally
Good judgment and thinking to develop solutions to problems
Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
Knowledge and understanding of Security domain preferred
