Digital Marketing Specialist VFA

POSITION SUMMARY:
This person will take the lead role in the development, implementation and analysis of online marketing initiatives that support VFA?s business and marketing objectives.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Own and optimize the company website, with the goal of enhancing visitor experience and increasing demand generation.
Translate business goals, marketing objectives, vertical segments, and customer personas into effective web experiences.
Partner with product, sales and lead generation teams to understand their business goals and work collaboratively to successfully plan, coordinate, launch and measure web marketing projects to meet those goals.
Work with Marketing Communications Director on the development and deployment of customer-focused content strategies that lead to greater visitor satisfaction and conversion.
PPC/SEM/SEO proficiency including defining requirements, keyword management, analytics, monitoring, and optimization with the goal to achieve optimum results, including conversion and top rankings on major search engines.
Leverage social media channels to increase our presence and drive traffic to website.
Interpret and compile data results into meaningful strategic insight and ROI data from a variety of mediums including: web analytic tools, email, customer database, web site traffic, and pay-per-click advertising campaigns.
Effectively communicate project updates and results to all stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience working on commercial web sites with a proven understanding of web technologies, browser compatibilities and limitations, content and process management, and site implementation
Experience managing and optimizing online user experiences with a proven ability to meet quantitative success metrics (3-5+ yrs.)
Expertise with online marketing initiatives including pay-per-click advertising, search engine optimization (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM), as well as email campaigns
Proficiency with web analytic tools such as Google Analytics, along with ability to compile data and present in a professional manner
Must have working knowledge of web technologies and systems; experience with web content management systems (WordPress).
Understanding of web site design, user interface design principles, usability testing, and site technologies
Experience with social media channels a plus
Experience with video a plus, including video creation and deployment tools such as Brainshark
Knowledge of Eloqua a major plus
Ability to stay calm and focused in a high-pressure environment; expert multi-tasker
Must be a results-oriented team player with a sense of ownership
Knowledge of integrated marketing and customer relationship disciplines a significant plus.
EDUCATION:
B.A./B.S. in marketing or related degree or equivalent
