The BidPal Digital Marketing Specialist is focused on managing the following digital marketing efforts: (1) email marketing (2) social media (3) website. These areas include creating and distributing marketing emails to the proper customer segment; creating social media programs; managing our social media accounts; and developing fan acquisition programs to grow the subscriber lists. This position is responsible for maintaining a consistent branding message across all digital media. In addition, the position oversees the day-to-day operations of BidPal's corporate website, Customer Support website, and Event Manager Portal.
The essential job functions for this role include:
Enhance corporate website effectiveness in order to reduce bounce rates and increase organic traffic. Review Google analytic trends and make necessary changes. Ability to code HTML and update website regularly.
Create and manage online marketing campaigns, including banner ads and pay-per-click advertising, and the execution of automated email campaigns between CRM (Salesforce.com) & email provider (Exact Target).
Manage our social media accounts, including inbound and outbound communication. Review social analytics and make necessary changes to increase visual and business impact.
Create social media promotions, increase engagement and dominate the social media space.
Create, review and edit content for all digital marketing efforts including but not limited to corporate website, corporate blog, Customer Support Portal, email campaigns, and social media responses.
Equip sales with branded email templates and tools for both online and offline campaigns.
Elegantly implement page designs in standards-compliant dynamic XHTML and CSS.
Collaborate with product management to define the information architecture, advocating Web interaction design best practices with a focus on consistency and usability.
Create rapid prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for content and tech development.
Work closely with back-end developers to find ways to push the limits of existing Web Technology in service of creating the best user experience possible.
Minimum 3 ? 5 years' work experience in Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Sales.
High level of creativity and initiative.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Exceptional communication skills including: written, interpersonal, and public speaking.
Highly organized with the ability to meet multiple concurrent deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer skills mandatory in ExactTarget, Salesforce, PowerPoint, Photoshop and web search/browsing.
