The Digital Marketing Web and Interactive Specialist plays a key role supporting SilkRoad?s business goals, go-to-market strategy, and demand generation requirements by creating and managing highly optimized websites to ensure that visitors find fresh, relevant information, engage and interact with SilkRoad content, and ultimately convert into sales prospects. Responsibilities include:
Maintains all www.silkroad.com websites (US and a regional domains and subdomains, test and production sites), using existing Content Management System (SilkRoad Eprise), including building, refreshing, and updating content, images, video, and other resources; and creating new page layouts and templates on a regular basis.
Manages site migrations, including creating project plans, communicating plans to wider organization, running project meetings, bringing together internal and external resources, assist in building test environment, testing and quality assurance for new site, monitoring site migration, managing to project milestones, and sending ?all clear?.
Performs continual maintenance and checks to ensure optimal site performance, including links, database, and other functions.
Uses analytics and testing best practices to modify and optimize the site to continuously improve site conversion and lead generation.
Provides back-up support as Administrator for Marketo Lead Management System when necessary.
Supports the Search Marketing SEO and PPC strategies and assists the team with monitoring, management, optimization and reporting on website performance, using Google Webmaster Tools and analytics and effecting any website updates or optimizations.
Ensures all tracking for Google Analytics and Salesforce is in place for each Marketing campaign and continually strives to track ROI and improve baseline performance.
Communicates optimization and testing activities and findings in verbal and written formats through monthly reporting and meetings.
Continuously finds, recommends to management, and implements best-practice strategies, tools, and other emerging technologies that improve site performance, engagement, interactivity, and conversion potential.

Intermediate skill level with Adobe Creative Suite is required; proficiency is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and problem solve to accomplish plans and programs.
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; detail-oriented.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Creative problem solver with strong analytical abilities.
Ability to interact effectively with the entire marketing team (Search, Marketing Operations, Direct Marketing, Field Marketing, Content Marketing, Social, and PR) as well as the IT and technical infrastructure teams.
Proficient with computer software and MS Office applications, including Word, Power Point and Excel (or Mac equivalents).
Bachelor?s Degree in Web and Interactive Design, Digital, or similar field.
Minimum of 2 years building and managing websites in a digital agency or corporate environment.
Experience with popular content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, or other) required; experience with SilkRoad EPrise is a plus.
Strong multimedia content development abilities helpful.
Knowledge of Google webmaster tools and Google analytics as well as knowledge/familiarity with search engine optimization, PPC programs, site visitor analysis, and user experience testing is helpful.
