We are seeking an SEO/SEM specialist with strong on-line social community management skills to identify and manage emerging SEO opportunities and maximize the social community for INRIX globally. The right candidate for this role is a self-starter, enthusiastically eats, breathes and sleeps SEO/SEM and social media, is pro-active, detail-oriented, hardworking, and thrives in a high performance startup environment. We need you to know more than we do about SEO/SEM and Social. To push and thrive on creating programs beyond the common ideas of crafting FB and Twitter promos, HTML on pages, keywords, sitemaps, etc. You should be someone that keeps up with the ever changing landscape of SEO and Social. And have the wisdom of what is necessary to move the SEO/SEM strategy, not just implementation, to maximize the INRIX brand, rankings, downloads of our consumer applications, drive our B2B messaging, as well maintain and build a loyal community of followers.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying SEO/SEM and community management priorities and requirements through data analysis using your knowledge of the industry and personal best practices. Effectively positioning INRIX in media and social channels globally, driving high awareness, satisfaction, and preference for the INRIX apps and brand. Achieving significant market penetration among driving smartphone users, gaining leading market share in the navigation category, and ensuring stickiness, usage, and satisfaction via consumer engagement is expected.
Primary Responsibilities:
Deep technical knowledge in search technology and meta-data implementation. Additional knowledge of personalized search and how social media and on-line communities are influencing search market planning.
Proven ability to grow SEO/SEM for a corporate website. Ability to show top rankings gained or maintained for competitive keywords and/or demonstrates how SEO traffic to a corporate website was significantly increased.
Establish processes that incorporate SEO/SEM best practices into INRIX global site architecture.
Analyze landing pages and associated search keywords, and recommend changes accordingly with recommended key performance indicators.
Deliver overall messaging to ensure global active and engaged communities in various consumer, B2B and partner channels, including app stores, in over 35 countries.
Define keywords, social and thought leadership topics by syncing with marketing and PR?s long-lead editorial calendars.
Knowledge of, and ability to, utilize social media sites as well as forums, blogs and messages boards to understand trends, themes and the ?pulse? of the customer.
Monitor online conversations. Participate, moderate, write and respond to those conversations to build brand visibility, thought leadership and drive adoption of INRIX products.
Establish a presence, as well as, integrating our members messaging into the community in a compelling and valuable way for other members.
Agency and vendor management around implementation, strategy, analytics and reporting for paid, organic and social across all channels focused on growth, engagement and conversion.
Required Skillset:
You must be a highly motivated, roll-up your sleeves, self-starter with a passion for communicating new disruptive technology-oriented services to consumers in an environment with limited resources and shifting priorities. You are more motivated by action and impact than by team size, available budget, and process. You thrive on new insights, creative solutions, and measurable results. You demonstrate multicultural awareness with empathy for other view points.
Additionally, you have demonstrated the following qualifications:
Possess a natural passion for community management, SEO, SEM elements and techniques and can develop strong compelling narratives.
Is willing to experiment, drive changes and be dynamic in creating new programs.
Four years? experience in SEO/SEM and community management related services. B2B2C experience a plus, with two years? experience in mobile marketing, large scale on-line retail sales or experience with app store distribution for a top 25 mobile app a big plus.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, liberal arts, or engineering/computer science or relevant experience.
Must have in-depth expert experience analytical skills, interpreting Google analytics, SM2 and webmaster tools. Web servers, SEO technologies, statistics and log files would round out this candidate.
Strong quantitative analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Comfortable working with raw data sets to generate reports & insights. Formulating conclusions, developing strategies based on analysis and experience with web analytics/technology applications is necessary.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline.
Experience working with leading brands either directly or at a well-established agency partner.
Prior experience in customer service and natural tendency to provide an excellent user experience.
Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills across a wide range of groups and functions.
Professional, creative, written, and oral communication skills, organizational skills and desire to deliver high quality of results.
Passion for creating content that will engage our audiences for both consumers and B2B.
Serve as key brand ambassador for social marketing.
Familiarity with a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and frequent changes.
International experience and multilingual abilities are a plus.
