Position Summary: The Digital Media Executive - Client Acquisition will consistently close new business in a highly competitive, consultative selling environment. Must have the ability to initiate high-level interactive business conversations with key decision makers in both small and large product manufacturers and service companies as it relates to Internet marketing and advertising programs in the industrial/engineering space. The ability to create interest and build value by use of a multi-call process is essential. Must be able to identify and develop strategies to overcome both obvious and hidden hurdles in the decision making process. Must be able to build a strong pipeline, and close new business.
Principal Responsibilities:
Initiate high-level interactive business conversations with key decision makers in both small and large product manufacturers and service companies as it relates to Internet marketing and advertising programs in the industrial/engineering space.
Create interest and build value by use of a multi-call process.
Identify and develop strategies to overcome both obvious and hidden hurdles in the decision making process.
Build a strong pipeline, and close new business.
Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Skill Specifications:
Education:
Associate Degree or equivalent work experience. BA or BS preferred.
Experience:
3+ years professional selling experience.
Prior total earnings (base plus commissions) at $75,000 or evidence of performance illustrating potential for target earnings.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience selling online marketing and advertising programs or services
Proven ability to build a solid customer base through networking and cold calling prospective clients
Prior experience in B2B - with focus on manufacturing/industrial type clients a plus
Proven ability to sell new business in our industry.

Strong desire to cold call and prospect for new clients
Ability to educate/sell prospect base on new ideas in the marketplace.

Proficiency with Sales Contact Management systems.
Must be fluent in English and be able to communicate clearly via the telephone and in person.
